Mich Birthday (DJs big day!) Part 1

Haha I will explain all the behind-the-scenes of Mich's Birthday Celebrations.

Oct 8 was set as the big day weeks ago. However to get Mich out especially on a Sun, we must have a strong reason. Yet, without us having to come out with any strong reason, Mich ownself said, " Melody getting married ah?" Than, we went " Ah". So, thats how the whole Melody Rom thing came about!

However, coincidentally PSS audition is on the same day. Me, Melody and even Mich wish to go down to take a look since our friend is in the competition. Mich said she could arrive at 4, and we cannot say cannot to her coming earlier to watch PSS also. However, according to our "story" Melody is suppose to be at the ROM in the afternoon.

So, from about 3pm to about 5pm, Melody was with me as we watched PSS. Xinyi was suppose to arrive at around four or five plus. So that when Mich arrive, she will call me and Xinyi and Melody will "disappear" . "Disappear" meaning they will stand at the same spot as us but on the second level. So everyone could watch PSS together ma :P All I had to do was not let Mich look behind can le . But, before Mich came, we spotted CQ=_=" Melody cant be with me to see CQ cause she has to "disappear" le.

However, dinner is scheduled for 8. Knowing Mich, she will surely insist that, " I very hungry la, can we go eat first?" Meaning 1) if Melody and Xinyi " appear" before 8, we will have to go eat earlier as Mich will say we go and eat while waiting or what la ". 2) If we watch PSS together with Melody and Xinyi. right after PSS, we will have to head for makan and we had no idea what time PSS will end, cause if PSS ends at 6, we will go makan at 6, than the whole thing will not be correct le! 3) If we told Mich earlier that dinner is at 8, she will not come so early and it will be very hard for us to manage her timing and their timing :P Also, we cannot ask Mich to arrive only at seven plus cause she wanted to see her 4591 also ma :P

So to ensure that dinner can start at 8pm , basic rationale : Melody and Xinyi cannot "appear" in front of Mich before 8.

True enough, Mich declared she was hungry shortly after she arrived and since the one that she was hoping to see had already passed the audition, she got sian. Luckily, Jeff wanted to go KFC, so Mich followed. Knowing how Jeff can talk talk talk, Mich ended up falling asleep at KFC :) Pa really power la, no wonder Mich was so ok with the two or three hours. We were still very stress over what we should do to entertain her for the few hours. Hee :)

So, thanks to Mich falling asleep, Melody and Xinyi could "appear" and we get to chat with our friend and also cq :P Heng ah, if not think Melody and Xinyi will be very very bored slacking around. We also got to go and choose the cake together instead of just one or two choosing and buying the cake as planned initially.

As the place of makan do not allow for reservations, so we have to queue early to get us a table for 8 persons. Me being the one that Mich already saw have to meet her after her nap to bring her to the place. Thus, after buying the cake, Melody and Xinyi went to the makan place got seats and startd to wait for 8pm.

Thanks to the super long time taken to announce to the results, we were able to keep Mich away from the makan place till they arrive .
